He has vast experience in community development initiatives and research; he has a vision to develop TVT as one of the leading and most successful nonprofit organizations in Africa. His dedication to high quality, independent service, and a demonstrated penchant for turning client problems into opportunities through meaningful, practical solutions make him an integral part of The Village Trust Management.
Ann Kalothi-Finance and Administration officer
Ann is a professional, knowledgeable and dependable part of The Village Trust Management. She is a Certified public accountant with great experience working in the banking industry and audit firms.
She is passionate in ensuring that the organization funds are well accounted and is also in charge of administration and policy management.
Together with the trustees and local partners, they have steered the simple idea of empowering women and youth groups to include hosting medical camps, supporting community boreholes, demonstrating better farming practices by use of modern technologies e.g. green houses, conserving the environment through planting of trees in deforested areas, providing civic education and providing better WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) facilities in schools. They are passionate in tackling poverty from the grassroots level and believe that through partnerships we can rid Africa from poverty. Through the community empowerment projects TVT is clearly transforming lives in remote African communities.
