Trainig House Open For Business

TVT Training House is open to business. It has taken long but as they say God’s timing is the best and now TVT training house is offering many training opportunities to women and youth. Before the construction of the TVT training house, training and capacity building programmes were conducted in churches, schools or under trees but today we have a training room (Lisa’s room of Hope), with the capacity to accommodate up to 100 trainees. Thanks to the many partners, World Doctors of Italy, Nappanee Missionary Church, USA, Lisa Lengacher’s family and many individuals who have contributed to bringing the training house to the current operational level. In addition to offering training on production of reusable sanitary pads, the Villachic, TVT training house offers tailoring, security and cookery courses to women and youth in order to equip them with skills to start their own income generating businesses or seek employment.

TVT training house is also offering library services as a way of promoting a reading culture among the young people, which is an initiative to keep young people from abusing drugs and alcohol due to idleness. TVT books reading club is open to both old and young and thanks to our partners, the Training house offers a comfortable place for “chilling out”.

Security of the users of the training house is a priority for the TVT management especially with the current increase of the global terror attacks. Unfortunately even though the training house is complete and operational, it is lacking in terms of security controls. It can be accessed from any direction and therefore there is need to enhance safety by construction perimeter wall and installing security surveillance systems. We therefore continue to look up to you for continued support to improve security of the women, youth and all users of the TVT Training house.
