The success of the medical camp is also attributed to the active involvement and participationof Dr. Sarah M. Kilemi, who despite her very busy schedule is always able to volunteer her time and resources. Dr. Kilemi believes that everything is possible with a bit of persistence and strong will.

Her constant follow up and advice to the committee ensured that the medical camps objectives were achieved. The director of Action in Focus Mr. Martin McNally has consistently provided medical supplies for patients and is always accompanied by a team of dedicated volunteers.

The role which the team of action in focus and Family Care Mission has continued to play has been crucial for the success of the medical camps.Mr. Martin Mworia of Meru County pharmaceuticals who donated quite a substantial amount of drugs and the work he personally did in volunteering his services at the medical camp.

The MOH of Muthara Hospital, Dr. Mwale for organizing the clinical officers and nurses that attended to the patients.Ms. Zipporah Mureithi together with the staff of Aphia Plus Kamili played a key role in providing reproductive health services and cancer screening in the Medical camp. TVT hopes to partner with Aphia Plus Kamili in the next year’s medical camp scheduled to take place in May, 2014.
